Researched and produced a project focused on retaining diversity in newsrooms, which eventuated in a newsletter pop-up series targeted towards middle-managers.
Worked closely with scientists to publicize research for a non-technical audience using video and interactive elements, while working independently to meet deadlines and find new stories.
Researched digital strategy, focusing particularly on live-streaming platforms. Helped produce videos and social content for live broadcasts and assisted in logistical efforts in scheduling them.
Wrote and reported on stories covering the newest business trends and storytelling innovations in the journalism industry.
Taught and supported the newly established drone journalism curriculum at the University of Missouri, including tutoring in FAA regulations.
Worked with limited resources to create social strategies for the newsroom, and helped to integrate video into the Houston Herald's reporting in a sustainable way.
Produced social media videos from concept to publication, working closely with the therapists at the Center to coordinate messaging and engagement strategies.
